Cézanne of the simian world
Today was the “day of weird”...
Today, I Came to know that dogs can fly and chimps can paint (or did paint).
The painting of Congo, who was known as the Cézanne of the simian world, will be auctioned alongside works by Renoir, Andy Warhol and the Chapman Brothers at Bonhams in London this month. It is indeed a real honour for all the chimps of the world.
Congo’s artistic sensibilities came to light when Dr Desmond Morris began a series of experiments, to find how well, chimps can paint. Congo produced more than 400 paintings and drawings, mainly abstract, in the late 50’s. His works are known to be popular with Piccaso and all the “Zoo Time” lovers.
Key question is ... what do you think, Congo was trying to say ...
(Hell.. I know dear Anonymous is not impressed)

For sure, if chimps can post, they can paint too!
